Aspire was founded by Sue Darrow in 2009. This organization started with teaching only 4 classes a week and has grown over the past 8 years to teaching 49 classes a week. They serve around 300 students a term!

The non-profit has provided dance lessons to over 4,000 Portland residents, specifically focusing on offering classes for families who couldn’t otherwise afford it. This organization is a youth program set on promoting physical and emotional health. Their mission is to give everyone the opportunity to dance! On October 21st, they are hosting a fundraiser and silent auction. Participation in the auction helps keep the tuition low and their doors open, so they are able to provide quality dance and movement classes for the Portland community.
